Declarative Programming is an advanced paradigm for the modeling and solving of complex problems. This specification method has got more and more attraction over the last years, e.g., in the domains of databases and processing of natural language, for the modeling and processing of combinatorial problems, and for establishing systems for the Web. We invite the submission of papers on the fields described above, especially, but not excluding, different aspects of Declarative Programming, Knowledge Management, Data Mining and Decision Support, as well as their use for the Web. The track consists of the following sessions: Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract (no longer than 10 pages including figures and references) or a system description (no longer than 3 pages) in postscript format (11pt) before November 23, 2003. Submissions should include the title, authors' names, affiliations, addresses, and e-mail. The submission procedure is described at Please, indicate clearly your preference for one of the tracks of the conference. All accepted papers will be published in a technical report. Selected papers are published as a post-conference proceeding in the Springer Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNAI) series.
