Workshop at the
28th German Conference on Artificial Intelligence (KI-2005)
September 11-14, 2005
Koblenz, Germany
Download Call for Papers: [TEXT, PDF]
Intelligent systems have been successfully developed in many domains over the last years. The
process of building such systems is based on techniques and tools from the fields of knowledge
engineering and software engineering, which have influenced each other. Thus, declarative software
engineering techniques have been established in various areas, such as knowledge systems,
logic programming, constraint programming, and lately in the context of the Semantic Web.
The workshop on Knowledge Engineering and Software Engineering (KESE 2005) wants to
bring together researchers and practitioners from the fields of software engineering and artificial
intelligence. The intention is to give ample space for exchanging latest research results as well
as knowledge about practical experience.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
10.00 - 11.30
11.30 Coffee BreakIntegrating Case-Based Reasoning and Experience Factory: Case Studies and Implications

| Workshop: | September 11, 2005 |
Papers should be formated according to the Springer LLNCS guidelines using the workshop proceedings template of the University Koblenz-Landau. The length of each paper should not exceed 12 pages for regular papers and 6 pages for short papers (including figures and references). All papers must be written in English and submitted in PDF format. The submission process will be electronical. Please email your submission to one of the workshop organizers.
The one-day workshop will be held with presentations of the accepted papers. A comfortable time
slot for discussions will be given. The submitted
papers will be reviewed by at least two members of the program committee.
The proceedings will be published as a technical report ("Technische
Berichte" of University Koblenz-Landau), and it is considered to publish a selection of extended papers after a post-workshop review process.
